Maybe? Kmart Rewards Card Required For Double Coupon
SKC sent me an email to let me know she had heard it is "possible" that Kmart MAY require people to use the rewards card to have their coupons doubled. She does not know this as a fact.

You will be able to print a temporary card to use until you receive your actual Rewards card in the mail.

The e-mail I got from Kmart CS said your Rewards card must be swiped first for coupons to double and then the first 5 coupons will double. They also said that coupons up to and including $2 will be doubled no matter what the retail price of a single item is.
Well, THAT explains how they will know whether or not someone tried to double more than 5 coupons per day!!! RATS! I was hoping they wouldn't think of that, so we could return later in the day with large-value coupons, etc. Instead, sounds like it's one trip per day for those 6 days...
